Meet Team Rebel Love Read More Talia Owner and Founder Talia is the owner and founder of Rebel Love, a blog that was conceptualised during a difficult period of her life, that hopes to turn pain into something positive by fostering discovery and connections. She realized she wasn’t the only one who had a hard time processing pain and letting go of the past, so after a particularly trying year, Rebel Love was conceived as medium for discourse and healing. It took 3 years to actualise this dream: of a place to share and to discover. Rebel Love is a place where we strive to create the best versions of ourselves, celebrate love and enjoy life’s offerings. Talia has traveled the world, working from her laptop for the past 3 years. She loves laughing, being around her friends, playing music, really good food, and love. Michael Executive Editor I met Talia when we both worked at an oyster bar in Toronto. We quickly fell into a natural friendship, and, one evening, sharing beers after work, Talia opened up about her interest in launching an online forum & blog. While Tal wanders the world, feeding her growth, I remain stationed in my home town, working on my writing. Our mutual love and respect has made developing Rebel Love an exciting part of my career in editing. Talia entrusts me with tweaking and emending our material, trusting my passion for sound and syntax. Our differences are always fruitful, and it’s certain that I would never take part in something as naked as RL without Tal’s inspiration. If you’re a contributing writer, always feel free to reach out with questions or comments about edits I’ve made to your work, and I’m happy to converse.
